Dewey Awad

Dewey is a Managing Director at Bain Capital, LLC. He joined the firm in 2000 and he focuses on software companies. Dewey is also a Managing Director at Brookside Capital Management, LLC. Previously, he was the Vice President of Internet Infrastructure Research at Soundview Technology. Earlier in his career, Dewey was a Director of Applications and Middleware Consulting at Gartner Group and has spent several years at Electronic Data Systems in the United States and Asia. He received a B.A. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from Georgetown University.

Kevin DeNuccio

Kevin is Violin Memory's President and Chief Executive Officer and has served as a member of their board of directors since February 2014. Previously, he served as CEO of Metaswitch Networks Ltd., a telecommunications hardware and software company, from February 2010 until June 2012. Kevin served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Redback Networks Inc., a provider of edge routers, from August 2001 until its acquisition by Ericsson in January 2007 after emerging from bankruptcy in 2004. From 1995 to 2001, he held a number of executive positions at Cisco Systems, including Senior Vice President of worldwide service provider operations. Prior to joining Cisco, Kevin was President and CEO of Bell Atlantic Network Integration, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bell Atlantic (now Verizon Communications). He has also held senior management positions at both Unisys Corporation and Wang Laboratories network integration and worldwide channel partner business.

Kevin previously served on numerous public and private boards of directors including Redback Networks, JDS Uniphase Corporation, KPMG consulting (BearingPoint), Netpliance (TippingPoint), Salesnet and SanDisk. He currently serves on the board of directors of Juniper Networks, Calix, GrndCntrl, Violin Memory, and Northeastern University.

He earned a Master’s degree in business administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Northeastern University.

Ben Nye

Ben is Managing Director, Boston, Bain Capital Ventures, which he joined in 2004 and leads the Software and Infrastructure Group. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, he was a SVP at Veritas Software. Prior to Veritas, he was COO and CFO of Precise Software Solutions, where he helped build Precise from a $10MM revenue private company to a $100MM revenue public company prior to its sale to Veritas for $600MM. Earlier in his career Ben was principal investor at Allied Capital, where he focused on business services, industrial, and health care sectors. Ben also worked in the U.S. Treasury Department for Treasury Secretaries Lloyd Bentsen and Robert Rubin, and as a consultant for Mercer Management Consulting. He attended Harvard College and Harvard Business School, where he graduated with honors.

Frank Palumbo

Frank is Senior Vice President of Worldwide Data Center and Collaboration Sales at Cisco. Frank leads two of Cisco's strategic architectural sales teams and is responsible for $15B in annual sales for the company.  These global teams are focused on ensuring that people, businesses, and governments are accelerating their growth and optimizing their technology investment with the most innovative solutions across collaboration, data center, analytics, software and cloud. Since joining Cisco more than 20 years ago, Frank has helped to pioneer and expand Cisco into new, adjacent markets, building the foundation for Cisco's global data center architecture sales with data center switching and compute technologies.  And more recently, growing strong market share as Cisco expanded to the software business with SDN and analytics. 
 
In his previous role as Vice President of Americas Data Center Sales, Frank led his team to capture the number-two market share position in the United States for x86 blade servers, within two years of Cisco entering the server market.  Prior to that, he led Cisco's sales organization for storage area networking, building and establishing the team and processes from the ground up.
 
Frank holds a degree in business administration from Rutgers University, and he serves on the board of the Rutgers Business School.

Jack Sweeney

Jack Sweeney joined SevOne as CEO in July 2013. Prior to SevOne, Jack served as a Managing Director for Bain Capital Ventures. His career includes a variety of leadership roles at fast-growth technology companies. He has served at the helm of six companies as CEO, creating more than $1.3 billion in value. He has also provided strategic guidance to numerous companies that address the next generation of technology, including infrastructure software, data security and networking.

Jack is a technology entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience managing capital investments and operations in the information technology market. He has served in executive roles at Axeda, AppNeta (formerly Apparent Networks, Inc.), EMC, Stargus, and EPiCON Inc. Prior to joining EPiCON, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Bell Atlantic Network Integration (BANI), where he grew BANI from being a Regional Network Services division into a $200 million organization with national presence and global potential.

Jack holds a B.S. Degree in Management from Bridgewater State College and Graduated from the Stanford University Executive Program.
